During the first edition of the Alma Caseus competition, dedicated to the heritage of Italian cheeses, one of our cheeses, the GIOIA DEL PASTORE BUCCIATO A LATTE CRUDO won the first prize as the best raw milk farm cheese in Italy.
This new competition was promoted by Alma – the international school of Italian cuisine and sponsored by the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, as well as by 30 Protection Consortia.
This is the list of cheeses awarded by the jury chaired by Renato Brancaleoni, Alma professor and internationally renowned affineur (bronze medal at the World Championships of Fromagerie in Lyon in 2007).
